AREA FORUM/WARD GRANTS
Matter for Consideration:
To consider applications under the Area Forum/Ward Grants Schemes.
Information:
The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £20,000 to each Ward and the Area Forums have been awarded budgets equivalent to £7,500 per ward covered for the financial year 2013/2014. The funding for either scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

Councillors Galley and Williams of Anchorsholme Ward have requested:
(i)£75 to Achieving Communities Together as a donation for a UK On-Line Computer Dongle for the use by senior ward residents.
(ii)£500 to Anchorsholme Primary Academy as a donation for new art equipment and books for the school.

Councillors Collett and Matthews of Tyldesley Ward have requested:
(i)£195.90 to St John Vianney RC Primary School as a donation for two boards and 2 banners for the school to promote child safety for those parking around the school area.
(ii)£500 to St Paul’s Church, Honister Avenue as a donation to the church for the benefit of the Tyldesley Ward part of the Parish.
